Product Description

 

1. Application

This respirator is intended for applications in govermental institutions, hotels office buildings, forests, airports,department stores, banks, ships, post offices, power industry, telecomminications, subways, recreation centers, refineries and chemical industry, etc, as an essential breathing-protective device for personal safety in fire accidents.

2. Main Technical Properties(Conforming to Ga 209-1999 of the Ministry of Public Security)

a. Effective Hours: Type 40≥40min. with good air tightness and multiple protections against poison gas, fire, heat radiation and smoke and suitable for all kinds of adult faces.
b. Useful Protection: against Carbon monoxide(CO.) poison smoke and fog
c. Mist Permeability Coeffecient:<800Pa; Exhalation resistence: <300 Pa

3. Operation Procedures
a. Open the box and take out the vacuum packing bag
b. Tear off the vacuum packing bag, take out the respirator abd pull out two plugs respectively;
c. Put on the helmet and tighten the string
d. Decide your way out and escape quickly;

4. Notes

a. Make rehearsals periodically for quick and effective escape in emergency;
b. This device is a one-off product for personal escape only and shall not be used as common protective device in work;
c. This device shall be kelp in a well-ventilated place free of heat sources, flammables, explosives and corrosive materials nearby and shall be protected from rain and moisture with ambient temperatrue of 0ºC-40ºC;
d. This device is a stationary product and shall not be moved, pressed or taken apart will or else it may lose efficiency inadvertently;
e. This device shall not be used in environment where oxygen density is below 17%
f. This device is intended for saving life of adults only in an emergency;
g. Respirators with broken vacuum bags shall not be used;

I. Shipment
 
1. Fixing
- When shipping fire extinguishers, it is important to ensure that they are securely fastened. For vehicle-mounted transportation, use specialized securing devices such as fire extinguisher racks or straps. For example, in fire engines, extinguishers are usually mounted in specific catches to prevent them from swaying and tipping over while the vehicle is in motion.
- In cargo transportation vehicles, if fire extinguishers are transported in bulk, they should be arranged in layers, with partitions separating each layer, and then secured as a whole to avoid collision with each other.
2. Environmental requirements
- Fire extinguishers should be avoided to be shipped with flammable, explosive and corrosive substances in the same vehicle. For example, fire extinguishers should not be transported with gasoline, sulfuric acid, etc. to prevent dangerous chemical reactions. At the same time, avoid transportation in high temperature, humidity or strong magnetic field environment. For example, in summer high temperature, should avoid the fire extinguisher long time exposure to sunlight transportation, the general temperature should not exceed 55 ºC.
 
II. Packaging
 
1. Inner packaging
- The bottle of the fire extinguisher is usually wrapped with materials such as plastic film or foam to provide initial protection. This inner layer of packaging can prevent the surface of the bottle is scratched, for some dry powder fire extinguishers, but also to prevent dry powder leakage.
2. outer packaging
- The outer packaging is mostly used in cardboard boxes or wooden boxes. Carton is suitable for small fire extinguisher packaging, which will be labeled with the type of fire extinguisher, specifications, methods of use and other important information. Wooden boxes are more suitable for large or heavy fire extinguishers, wooden boxes have better pressure resistance and protection. For example, for some large-capacity carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, the use of wooden box packaging can better withstand the pressure of the transportation process, to ensure the integrity of the fire extinguisher. Whether it is a carton or a wooden box, should comply with the relevant packaging standards to ensure that the fire extinguishers will not be damaged in the normal course of transportation.
